There's no minimum number of participants required; your tour is guaranteed to run once you book it, even if you are the only one! This ensures an intimate atmosphere and plenty of direct interaction with your guide

What should I wear or bring?

Dress warmly; the tour runs rain, snow, or shine. Old Town cobblestones can be slippery in winter weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes. You may wish to bring a small bag for any souvenirs you purchase and your camera!

This is a moderate walking tour through Zurich's city center, primarily flat with some charming cobblestone streets and gentle sloping hills. The total walking distance is approximately 0.9 - 1.0 kilometers (0.5 - 0.6 miles).

Can children join the tour?

This tour is designed for adults and older children (for example, 14+ years) who have an interest in food, culture, and walking. Young children may find the pace or content less engaging.

What if it rains or snows?

This tour operates rain or shine. Please bring appropriate rain gear (hat,gloves, umbrella, warm coat) if the weather forecast suggests precipitation.

Is there a best time to take the tour?

While enjoyable at any time we operate, the tour offers a particularly vibrant atmosphere in the early afternoon for a leisurely experience. Please note that most shops are closed on Sundays and public holidays, and tour availability will reflect this.

Why can’t I book on Sunday/holiday?

Sunday is a well-respected rest day in Switzerland, with many shops closed. Unfortunately, this makes it impossible for us to offer the experience we’ve crafted on Sundays or Swiss holidays.
