Is this a private tour?
This tour offers a highly personalized and intimate experience with a maximum of 4 guests per session. There's no minimum number of participants required; your tour is guaranteed to run once you book it, even if you are the only one! This ensures an intimate atmosphere and plenty of direct interaction with your guide
What is included in the tour price?
One serving of Swiss raclette (cheese and potatoes), one Glühwein mulled wine or non-alcoholic alternative, served in a souvenir Christmas cup to take home, guided walk through the Old Town with holiday stories and cultural context, local host expertise and curated route
What should I wear or bring?
Dress warmly, as our tours operate rain, snow, or shine. Because Old Town cobblestones can be slick during winter weather, comfortable walking shoes are essential. You may also wish to bring a camera and a small bag for any artisanal treats or souvenirs you might purchase along the way.
How much walking is involved?
This is a moderate walking tour through Zurich's city center, primarily flat with some charming cobblestone streets and gentle sloping hills. The total walking distance is approximately 0.9 - 1.0 kilometers (0.5 - 0.6 miles).
Is this experience suitable for people with food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Important Note: Due to the nature of the experience, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens, and therefore, this tour may not be appropriate for individuals with severe food allergies or strict dietary restrictions. This tour involves tasting raclette. Raclette is a dairy product, so it is not vegan/vegetarian-friendly. We recommend consulting with us directly if you have specific concerns before booking.

This tour operates rain or shine. Please bring appropriate rain gear (hat, gloves, umbrella, warm coat) if the weather forecast suggests precipitation.

Our tour schedule runs approximately 3 months out with a minimum advance notice of 48 hours.

Our tour is best suited for guests comfortable with continuous walking and standing. It covers a short distance (~1.5 km / 1 mile) through Zurich's historic Old Town and the uneven cobblestone surfaces and gentle inclines require a steady footing. What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your booking for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
